Three albums in about a year. Who does that? Lord Of The Lost, apparently. OPVS NOIR Vol. 3 wraps up the Hamburg crew’s trilogy with eleven songs of big goth-metal drama, industrial beats, orchestral swells and choruses made for waving your arms in a black leather coat. The guest list is a party on its own: Wednesday 13, Saltatio Mortis, Xandria’s Ambre Vourvahis and more.
Is it too much? Sometimes, sure. A couple of songs blur into the glossy pop side of things. But when it lands, it lands like fireworks, and the closing “The Days Of Our Lives” is a proper finale. Put on eyeliner. Press play.
