Lord Of The Lost

Lord of the Lost began in Hamburg in 2007 as a solo project by singer and multi-instrumentalist Chris Harms. After his early songs got a positive response online, he put together a full band, and the debut album Fears was released in 2010.

Antagony (2011), Die Tomorrow (2012), From the Flame into the Fire (2014), Empyrean (2016) and Thornstar (2018) grew their following, with keyboardist Gared Dirge joining in 2010 and drummer Niklas Kahl in 2017. Judas (2021) reached No. 2 in Germany, and Blood & Glitter, released on 30 December 2022, went to No. 1 there.

Steve Harris picked them to support Iron Maiden across Europe in 2022, and they went back out with Maiden in 2023. That year they represented Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest with “Blood & Glitter” and finished last of 26 in the final. A covers album, Weapons of Mass Seduction, followed in December 2023, and longtime crew member Benji Mundigler became an official band member in 2024.

The OPVS NOIR trilogy came out on Napalm Records across eight months: OPVS NOIR Vol. 1 in August 2025, Vol. 2 in December 2025, and OPVS NOIR Vol. 3 on 10 April 2026. In July 2026, bassist Klaas Helmecke (Class Grenayde) and guitarist Pi Stoffers said they would leave the band after the OPVS NOIR era.

Current line-up: Chris Harms (vocals, guitar, cello), Gared Dirge (keyboards, percussion, guitar), Benji Mundigler (guitar, keyboards), Niklas Kahl (drums).
