Ten songs. No padding. Entheos have cut the fat. Chaney Crabb’s vocals sit on top of a band that is basically a supergroup: Navene Koperweis on drums, guitar and synth, with Scott Carstairs and Michael Stancel on guitars. Mark Lewis produced it, so expect it to hit like a truck.
“Golden Crown” is the hook. Crabb describes it as a heavier take on a 90s rock song, with creepy synths, a huge chorus and a breakdown that lands hard. “Undone”, the other advance single, is the darker of the two. The band is not reinventing anything here, but it is tighter and leaner than before. Play “Golden Crown” loud and try to sit still.
