- Label: Regain Records
- Release date: 14 June 2010
Recorded at Studio Soulless in Stockholm and released by Regain Records in June 2010, Burial Ground keeps Grave in a familiar groove. Ola Lindgren handles guitars and vocals, with Fredrik Isaksson on bass and Ronnie Bergerståhl on drums, and the nine tracks stick to the downtuned, mid-paced Swedish death metal that has always been their trade. Nile’s Karl Sanders drops in for a lead on “Bloodtrail”. The closing title track runs past seven minutes and is the heaviest thing here.
No surprises, no real dips. For anyone who likes their Stockholm death metal unvarnished, it does the job.
