Krallice were formed in 2007 in the Woodhaven neighborhood of Queens, New York. The band is built around the twin guitars of Mick Barr and Colin Marston.
Their first three albums, Krallice (2008), Dimensional Bleedthrough (2009) and Diotima (2011), came out on Profound Lore Records. From Years Past Matter onwards the band released its albums itself, with Gilead Media handling many vinyl editions.
Years Past Matter, their fourth album, was released as a limited self-released CD on August 25, 2012, followed by a vinyl edition from Gilead Media. Its songs are titled only with rows of the letter “I”, and the album runs about an hour.
The band then entered a very productive period with Ygg huur (2015), Prelapsarian (2016), Loüm and Go Be Forgotten (both 2017), Mass Cathexis (2020), Demonic Wealth (2021), Crystalline Exhaustion and Psychagogue (both 2022), Porous Resonance Abyss and Mass Cathexis 2 – The Kinetic Infinite (both 2023) and Inorganic Rites (2024). Loüm was made together with Neurosis bassist Dave Edwardson, who sang and played synthesizers on it.
In 2026 Krallice returned to Profound Lore, which released Scour Order on September 18, 2026. The band is active and has European tour dates booked for October and November 2026.
