Angus McSix

Angus McSix were formed in 2021 by Orden Ogan frontman Sebastian “Seeb” Levermann and Swiss singer Thomas Winkler after Winkler had left Gloryhammer. The band continues a revamped version of Winkler’s former Gloryhammer character, Angus McFife, and each member performs as a character in the band’s fantasy storyline. Guitarist Thalia Bellazecca (Thalestris) and drummer Manu Lotter completed the original line-up.

The debut album Angus McSix and the Sword of Power was released by Napalm Records on 21 April 2023.

In January 2025 Winkler stepped back from the band to spend more time with his family. Sam Nyman of Manimal took over vocals in the new role of Prince Adam McSix, and former Xandria drummer Gerit Lamm replaced Lotter as Ork Zero. Guitarist Jasmin Pabst (The Dwarf) later joined the line-up.

The second album, Angus McSix and the All-Seeing Astral Eye, was released by Napalm Records on 13 March 2026. It was preceded by the singles “I Am Adam McSix” and “Dig Down”, the latter featuring Van Canto.
