Bury Tomorrow were formed in Southampton, England, in 2006. Singer Daniel Winter-Bates, bassist Davyd Winter-Bates, drummer Adam Jackson and guitarist and clean vocalist Jason Cameron were part of the founding line-up, and from the start the band set out to combine harsh metalcore with soaring, melodic hooks.

The debut Portraits arrived in 2009, followed by The Union of Crowns (2012) on Nuclear Blast. Runes (2014), Earthbound (2016), Black Flame (2018) and Cannibal (2020) established them as one of Britain’s leading metalcore acts.

In 2021 Jason Cameron left the band. Rather than replace him one for one, Bury Tomorrow brought in two new members, rhythm guitarist Ed Hartwell and keyboardist and clean vocalist Tom Prendergast.

The Seventh Sun, released on 31 March 2023 through Music for Nations, was the first album with the new six-piece line-up. The eighth album, Will You Haunt Me, with That Same Patience, followed in May 2025.

Current line-up: Daniel Winter-Bates (vocals), Kristan Dawson (lead guitar), Ed Hartwell (rhythm guitar), Tom Prendergast (keyboards, clean vocals), Davyd Winter-Bates (bass), Adam Jackson (drums).
