Hate

Hate was formed in Warsaw in 1990 by guitarist and vocalist Adam “ATF Sinner” Buszko, guitarist Andrzej “Quack” Kułakowski, who died on 8 February 2026, and drummer Mittloff. The band recorded the demo tapes Abhorrence (1992), Evil Art (1994) and The Unwritten Law (1995) before signing to Novum Vox Mortiis, which released Daemon Qui Fecit Terram (1996) and Lord Is Avenger (1998).

The mini-album Victims came out through Metal Mind Records in 2000. Shows with Immolation brought the band to the attention of the American label Dwell Records, and Cain’s Way and Awakening of the Liar followed. Anaclasis: A Haunting Gospel of Malice & Hatred (2005) was recorded at Hertz Studio in Białystok, and Morphosis (2008) and Erebos (2010) were released by Listenable Records.

After moving to Napalm Records, Hate released Solarflesh: A Gospel of Radiant Divinity in 2013, recorded at Sound Division Studio in Warsaw. In April 2013, during a tour in Germany, bassist Slawek “Mortifier” Arkhangelsky died in his sleep. Crusade:Zero (2015) was dedicated to him, and Tremendum (2017) was the last album for Napalm.

Metal Blade Records released Auric Gates of Veles (2019) and Rugia (2021). The thirteenth album, Bellum Regiis, was recorded at Grondahl Studio in Stockholm with producer David Castillo and released on 2 May 2025. It reached number 41 on the Polish album chart.
